Which dive site will we visit?

The South Reef, located on the south-eastern tip of Malta near Delimara Point, is a fascinating dive site known for its colorful marine life and varied underwater scenery.

The reef starts at a shallow depth of about 9 meters and has a steep slope that descends to about 25 meters. Here divers can explore a beautiful and varied seascape of walls, caves and boulders, as well as plains covered with Poseidonia and other algae. All these places are inhabited by a variety of marine life.

Sikka il-Munxar is one of the most unique and exciting dive sites in Malta, accessible exclusively from a boat. This reef is located approximately one mile offshore and rises up to 5 metres underwater, making it an ideal dive site for beginners and experienced divers alike.

The landscape of Sikka-il-Munxar is breathtaking and in some places resembles temples created by human hands. Underwater cliffs and ledges create the illusion of ancient structures, which gives the dive a special atmosphere of mystery and grandeur.

During one of the dives we saw many moray eels, grey rays and unusually large shells. The fish and other marine life that inhabit these waters are astonishing in their diversity and beauty.

As the dives are done quite far from shore, there is a possibility that the diver will start surfacing before returning to the boat. For safety reasons, we insist that each diver has a personal safety buoy (SMB) and recommend a marine or pneumatic whistle.

Our boat is originally designed to be safe for active sports: Scuba diving and freediving but retaining the comfort of a private yacht: lounge area, kitchen, shower/toilet all on board.
We’ll be happy to see photographers, biologists, archeologists and marine researchers on board.
