HMS Hellespont wreck (Also known as: Hellespont, HMAV Hellespont)
Location : Malta, 1.5 km outside Grand Harbour entrance (35.9015° N 14.5411° E)
General characteristics of the ship:
Steam-powered tug
Length: 46 m.
On the night of 6-7 April 1942, HMS Hellespont was hit during an air raid and sunk in the Grand Harbour. 15 m of the bow section was completely destroyed and is now missing from the wreck.
