Cargo Ship Camadan wreck

Shipbuilding date: 1982.
Length: 80 m.
Location: Malta,  ( 35.8300° N 14.6200° E).
Beam: 14 m.

Historical notes:

On 11 March 2002, due to a storm the Turkish cargo vessel Camadan began to take water off the island of Malta. The following day, towing attempts were carried out without success. The crew was rescued by helicopter and the vessel sank with its cargo of phosphate fertilizer.

Diving experience: 

The shipwreck of the MV Camadan lies to the east of Malta, about 4 kilometers from Delimara. They are at a depth of about 100 meters, making this site suitable only for technical divers.
