The Unknown Barge Wreck, located off St. Paul’s Bay near Malta, is an intriguing dive site for technical divers, with an average depth of 55 meters and a maximum depth of about 60 meters.
This large barge, measuring approximately 60 meters in length and 15 meters wide, offers an opportunity to explore its engine room and accommodation quarters. However, the site has received mixed reviews, with some divers noting that the deck is quite flat and offers little to see unless you plan on penetrating the wreck.
It’s also noted that the interior can be very silty, affecting visibility.
