Devils Reef (Qammieh Point)
Qammieh Point or Ras il-Qammieh, is a distinctive dive site located at the western end of Marfa in Malta. This site is known for its diverse underwater landscape, featuring caves, reefs, and walls, making it an appealing destination for both novice and experienced divers.
The shallow part of the wall at Devil’s Reef contains a few caves and caverns, including a swim-through at around 25 meters deep. The top of the reef, with depths ranging from 4 to 6 meters, offers interesting spots for exploration, suitable for less experienced divers.
For the more adventurous and technically skilled divers, the wall or drop-off extends to depths of 45 to 50 meters and continues down a sandy slope to depths beyond 70 meters. This part of the dive site offers a more challenging experience with the opportunity to explore deeper underwater formations.
