Description:
Junkers Ju 88 (South) wreck (Also known as: Ju 88, Junkers 88, Junkers Ju)
Location : Malta, few kilometres off Marsaskala (35.8853° N 14.6329° E).
Airplane wreck dive. Managed by Heritage Malta.
General characteristics of the ship:
German twin-engine all-metal bomber
Length: 15 m.
Wingspan: 20 m.
The wreckage of the aircraft stands vertically on the seabed (good condition). There is minor damage in the nose, and minor damage in the tail – traces of attempts to shoot down the aircraft.
