Take two dives to historic underwater sites on a private boat that has been designed to ensure the comfort and safety of freedivers. The duration of each dive is 60-90 minutes. During your rest time on the board, you will be able to enjoy all the benefits of a private boat. An instructor will be on board to ensure your safety
The dive site of the Statue of Christ, also known as Kristu tal-Bahhara (Christ of the Sailors), is a mesmerizing underwater attraction located off Qawra Point in north-eastern Malta. This 3-meter tall statue depicts Jesus Christ with arms outstretched, symbolically protecting sailors. It stands on white sand amidst a natural amphitheater of rock and is positioned at a depth of about 35 meters.
The MV Imperial Eagle wreck, situated off Qawra in north-eastern Malta, is a notable deep wreck dive site with a rich history and fascinating underwater features. Originally launched as the New Royal Lady in 1938, the Imperial Eagle served various roles, including being an excursion ship and a ferry between Malta and Gozo. During World War II, it was used for transport duties by the Royal Navy. In 1958, it was sold to Malta, renamed Imperial Eagle, and operated as a ferry carrying passengers and vehicles between Malta and Gozo.

About Buddy Boat:
Our boat, or as we call it – “Buddy Boat” is a dive boat that offers private boat tours in Malta for freedivers and scuba divers or snorkelers.
Yet it still retains the comfort of a private yacht: lounge area, kitchen, shower/toilet all on board.
But the most important thing is the safety standards we adhere to to ensure safety during sporting events and therefore safety for you during your holiday (or time with kids on the board).

Since this event is primarily for certified freedivers, we will ask you to present your freediving certification. All levels of freediving and all certification agencies are accepted as long as your certification allows you to dive deeper than 10 meters in open water.
Minimum age: 18 years old (unless accompanied by a parent or guardian who is a certified freediver).
Yes, the boat can accommodate up to 8 guests. If some of them are not freedivers, they can relax on the boat and enjoy the trip with you.
We recommend bringing your own freediving gear if you have it, a towel, sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle. If you need to rent equipment, please let us know in advance.
We have compiled a detailed map of dive sites for freedivers in Malta. However, our tours include dive sites that are difficult to reach from shore.
There is a microwave, fridge, and coffee machine on board. You can order all the meals you need through the Bolt Food service, and our skipper will meet the courier before the start of the itinerary.
A deposit of €200 is required to confirm your booking. The rest can be paid on the day of the tour before it starts.
The full deposit will be refunded if the charter cannot proceed due to weather conditions.
