Kalkara Marina
Kalkara Marina is one of the main departure places of the Buddy boat. Most dive trips will start from here.
If you would like the boat to pick you up somewhere else, close to your home or a hotel – no problem. Just let us know in advance via one of our social networks or sent us an email on [email protected] and we can arrange it for you!
Example dive schedule:
8:00: Meeting at the departure point
Make sure that all the required equipment for you dive is with you. Securely place it on the boat and start your scuba diving adventure. Meet other fellow divers, chat and have your morning coffee
8:30: Buddy Boat Departure
Double check and prepare your scuba diving equipment, do the dive briefing and start your dive
1st dive (approximately 60 minutes)
Time for a snack, your next briefing with your instructor (or a buddy) and preparations for the next dive
2nd dive (approximately 60 minutes)
Both dives are done and it’s time to remove and dry your dive gear and dismantle your diving equipment. Have some rest in the sun deck or grab some food while we’re heading back to our departure point.
14:00 – 14:30: Buddy Boat arrival time. Please double check that you’ve packed all your diving equipment and nothing important is left on the boat.

* If you have dived with a dive centre, please confirm your instructor as you might have to go back to the dive center to finish the paperwork.
How to get there?
Kalkara Marina is conveniently located right next to the Malta’s capital city – Valletta. Kalkara marina is located in Kalkara, one of the so-called three cities in the Southern Region of Malta.
Bus number 3 departing Valletta will take you to Kalkara. If unsure of the exact location – you can ask the driver to drop you off at Kalkara marina. Pontoon G is the one where Buddy boat is moored.
If you are arriving by taxi – just let the driver know that you need to get to Kalkara marina in Kalkara. Don’t forget to mention that you need Pontoon G.
